 Do you think that the author of the ethics book states his purpose for writing the book? What is this purpose?

2. Do you think that the chapters in this book build up to our recognizing that the ethical order in society is something that we build together on the basis of our collective understanding?

3. Does the book use an ordinarily understood idea of reason to discuss and advance on its arguments? Give your view on this. What idea of reason or reasonable is used in the book?

5. We are prone to have beliefs which influence what we do in out lives. Not all such beliefs are examined by us and we are under their influence even in trying to examine them.
