What are the philosophical ramifications of reparations for actions

of the past? When talking about reparations for African Americans because of slavery, how does it relate to the philosophy of exchange and debts? We have to come up with philosophical inquiries or questions related to the stance of reparations as fulfilling the debts incurred by people of the past. We are using this passage from the 12 Theses on Death by Berger:
