The basic question is: How does realism explain war and how do theorists who support this idea show that it is ABSOLUTE (i.e. no other IR theories can explain war as well…in their assessment)

To do this you will have to have read Vazquez,Ellman and the replies back and forth, Walt on the Progressive Power of realism, and especially Jeff Talliaferro’s piece. Background and some clarity will come from the Morgenthau piece. Please Do not use outside sources, only use the PDF’s attached.
