This chapter will build your understanding of inferential statistics including test of significance, such as the t-test, as well as significance, and meta-analysis. Understanding these concepts will help guide your data analysis to determine the results of your independently designed study. Writing Your Research Report We all know how critical research is in expanding our knowledge and the field of psychology. Read the following in your textbook. Salkind, N. J. This chapter will help you write your own manuscript, including the components and of which each section consists. Complete Research Designs and Threats to Internal Validity to learn about research designs and threats to internal validity in descriptive research, quasi-experimental research, and experimental research. Methods Participants Describe the number of participants in the study, meaning, and the number of participants who responded to both variables selected. How can your results be generalized? What were the limitations of the study? Think about research validity and reliability.
