A philosophical perspective is very important on religion. the word philosophy means the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline. They kind of co exist between them. You need one to have the other. Religion is almost like an answer to these philosophical questions we all ask ourselves. As some believe that their is a greater being out there while others don’t. People will try to argue with hard scientific evidence that god is not real, or heaven is fake. The thing is religion is run by faith and personal experience, so it is hard to prove because the evidence is not in your face. We as people read the “word of god” (or other religious doctrine) and interpret one way or another, which then is up to us to believe in it or not. Philosophy shouldn’t be silent on religious faith, it is just another way to live life by. Some chose to live life by following this belief while other chose to live life by science and facts. it is good to be open about others thoughts because it can open your eyes to new ideas or even beliefs and teach you to be more empathic.
