Art Traditions of China and Korea

The art traditions of China and Korea are closely linked.  During the Joseon period however, Korean arts came into their own. One of the areas where this is most evident is in ceramics. Compare and contrast the following two pieces: Flask, Ming dynasty, 1426-1435 (pg 799) Horizontal Wine Bottle with Decoration of a Bird Carrying a Newly Caught Fish, Joseon dynasty, 16th century (pg 807) Write one paragraph comparing and one paragraph contrasting the visual elements and techniques used (Be very specific).
