This is a Collaborative Learning Community (CLC) assignment.

The purpose of this assignment is to assess a nursing professional’s leadership styles, qualities, and practices; to emphasize the importance of strong inter-professional communication for nursing leaders; and to research the usage of servant leadership in nursing practice.

Read the leadership study resources and take the topic tests to better understand your leadership skills.

After you’ve finished, go over what you’ve learned about your own leadership attributes with your group so you can see how you differ from and are similar to your peers in terms of leadership.

Examine the servant leadership study materials as a group. Make a 10- to 12-slide PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes that incorporates the concepts of servant leadership as well as the characteristics and actions of outstanding leaders that you have learned. At the end of your presentation, include a final slide for references.
