Biochemistry Essay

Human cells contain a vast number of chemicals. At any one time they carry out a multitude of chemical reactions to produce for example energy, molecules for the synthesis of new cells, or chemicals for secretion (e.g. cells that produce digestive enzymes). Describe the cellular compartmentalisation of some of these processes including the structure of the compartments and how this structure is optimised to its function.
