Career Progression
500 word1. What are your post-MBA goals and how will your prior experience and the London Business School programme contribute towards these?A CEO for a company that does not exist yet, and a minister have not been appointed– This is how I see and describe myself for the future. Carrying out the career path by yourself is something tricky, not easy, where such a road usually is not paved for you. High ambitions come along with tremendous efforts. The ambition is limitless, but it is nothing without a plan.Looking at my professional years of experience, I consider myself on track toward that direction, but the question is, would it be enough? I’m a hardworking and highly motivated professional who fits best in a challenging working environment where my qualities of fast learning, leadership, and ability to take on new challenges can distinguish me from others. I’m skilled in building cross-functional teams, start and run organizations, and making critical decisions during challenges. I’m an adaptable and transformational leader with an ability to work independently and developing opportunities that further establish the organizational goal.To enhance my abilities, I decided to start my own business with a passion for learning. I started a couple of creative pioneering tech-startups that were aligned with the Saudi 2030 vision to enhance the quality of life. As a matter of fact, the businesses were not running as I hoped. However, the experience itself was insightful enough to visualize what I wanted to be.Despite the failure, I won the knowledge. Everything counts in career progression, even the non-professional experience. So, I decided to enhance my experience with a degree focusing on entrepreneurship and international business. Also, having microeconomics as electives courses will satisfy my curiosities in business.I truly believe that moving for the next step in my ladder toward my goal requires to gain more knowledge and to sharpen my skills further. Today, the MBA is the only degree that fits those requirements. Looking at the MBA program at LBS with the practical and theoretical learning modules, I genuinely believe that it will get me ready moving forward, clamping the ladder. I can visualize how it will develop me into an exceptional communicator and adviser, progressing to be the CEO and the minister I wanted to be. (362)….. Is there any other information you believe the Admissions Committee should know about you and your application to London Business School?I’d like to share with the Admissions Committee a bit of my background, which explains my passion for best choices and educations. In 1990, I born and raised in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, 1200 km far from my original city in the north. My father did not continue his educations; however, he was the owner of many successful businesses. We were living a good quality of life comparing to others. I consider him as someone who built himself from zero. Unfortunately, that legacy did not last for a long time as he lost everything to be left with nothing enough for a family living.Throughout my childhood, I was seeing my father only on weekends as he moved into another city, seeking living by helping and supporting my uncle in his startup. We ran into difficult circumstances that have turned us into a stronger family, tasting the flavor of educations in life with limitless ambitions toward a better place.Educations became not only lifeline but also a key for a better future. This is the mentality I grownup on. Since that time, I decided to go always for the best choices when it comes to educations. When I graduated from high school, I get accepted by all universities in the kingdom, but I was not able to study abroad in order not to leave my family alone. I decided to pick the best choice internally, and I joined King Fahad university of petroleum and minerals, which was ranked as the top 1 university in the middle east.I truly believe that the future will be better when you work for it accordingly with commitments. And today, I am lucky enough to be fully sponsored by my country in the excellence educational program to study an MBA in the top universities in the world.…..( try to emphasis more the scholarship that I have by my country if I get accepted without conditions.)100 words3.
