The patient is a 23-year-old male who came to the clinic for a follow-up visit. He came in for worsening symptoms of OCD. The patient has a history of Obstructive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The patient is currently a college student. He states he has been doing great with his condition, but suddenly, he started with worsening symptoms of OCD. The OCD symptoms are affecting his grades, and relationships with his peers. The patient is alert, oriented, calm, and cooperative. He was prescribed Prozac 40mg by mouth three weeks ago. He Denies suicidal ideation and hallucinations. The Therapist ordered 8 weeks of cognitive behavioral therapy, and the patient will follow up in two weeks.
