strength.” (Dallal Lama) Tolerance of one’s culture is one of the positive sides of cultural relativism. As protectors of life, we tolerate a culture that is promoting the culture of life. To those others who are not promoting, we are giving our compassion so that they will change. Compassion is important so that cultural relativisms will be appreciated in their role and importance.

As a student, we are called to be a compassionate individual. Yet, as being a Christ-centered institution, we are challenged to let other people experience the compassion of Christ? Amidst the different ideologies and beliefs besetting us right now, how can you help promote the spirit of peace and order in our society?
