HIM_2-2 Final Project Milestone One: Case Analysis and Statement of Work

Analyze the provided case study to identify and define the problem that will be addressed by your portal and interface recommendations. For Milestone One, you will describe the existing methods of patient information accessibility at the organization, and draft a problem statement that clearly communicates the challenge the organization faces. In doing so, you must also consider how the needs of internal departments defined in the case scenario will impact your research and recommendations.

In addition, you must prepare a statement of work (SOW) for the development of the patient portal. The SOW will include a project description, the goals and objective of the project, the project plan, the potential technological limitations of the portal, and a cost benefit analysis.
