Philosphy Descartes Method of Doubt And Inquiry Presentation

Dear All,

As we discussed in our last class our third and final assignment of the semester will be to complete one of the projects described below for Intro to Philosophy or Intro to Ethics by April 15th 2021.

 

Please note a project done well can be used to increase your overall online contributions for this semester.

 

Your project must be chosen from one of the topics for the final examination so it can be shared with the rest of the class as a review.

 

Please feel free to email your suggested topic before starting on your presentations to make sure it is acceptable.

 

Projects:

 

  1. Build a self-guided presentation on one of the topics covered on the syllabus.

Use your own photos to illustrate your presentation built in Keynote or PowerPoint that contains hyperlinks to show how the ideas of the topic connect.

 

  1. Build a storyboard to help explain a particular topic we have covered this semester.

Build the storyboard in Keynote or PowerPoint. This can be turned into a video using IMovie or Camtasia. Finally add a voice-over and share the movie project with other learners.

 

  1. Create a graphic organizer to show certain ideas or concepts link together.

Write your first thoughts in Notes or Notepad. Use your camera to take photos to illustrate your thoughts. Use Pages or Word to arrange your illustrated notes into a flow chart or spider diagram.

 

 

REMEMBER YOU CAN WORK INDIVIDUALLY OR WITH A PARTNER.

 

We will arrange a time in class when you can share your projects in the final week of the semester.

 

REMEMBER MORE POINTS WILL BE GIVEN FOR INTERACTIVE AND VISUALLY

APPEALING PROJECTS WHICH CLEARLY INCLUDE ALL THE ELEMENTS OF A

PARTIUCLAR PROJECT DESCRIPTION.

 

Please email me by Sunday, 4th April 2021 your project type and topic, as well as the name(s) of your partner (maximum of two learners per project.)
