Relaxation at the River Walk Watch the following short video with San Antonian and professional video producer Hallease Narvaez — I first learned about her in the San Antonio Report, discussing what it’s like to live in downtown San Antonio. Then I checked out her YouTube channel. This video is a bit like a meditation exercise. Directions Write a discussion post telling us how things are going for you — and be sure to write more than one paragraph: 1) What are some things you have enjoyed learning so far about the medieval and prehistoric worlds? 2) What are the challenges? What changes might you make in the second half of the class, in order to get successfully to the end? 3) In the video, Hallease says she “creates” as a way to cope with having a tough week, and she apparently finds the River Walk to be a relaxing place. What strategies do you have for coping, and what places of refuge do you have?
