What procedure does Rawls propose for determining the principles of justice?  Describe the procedure, and explain why Rawls thinks that the principles chosen through that procedure would be just.  Why does Rawls label his theory “justice as fairness”?  In what sense does justice as fairness ensure the autonomy of members of a society?  Why does Rawls think that his procedure would not accept utilitarianism?
