temporal needs. Each requires a different amount and kind of weather information. While some are mutually exclusive, others have some overlapping characteristics but are still distinct. Thus, various forecasting methods have been categorized. These are: probability, climatological, analogue, trend, persistence, statistical, and ensemble. In this activity, we will explore the choice of method in relation to weather situations/scenarios. Instructions for this Discussion Activity Choose from this list of weather scenarios by including your initials next to the scenario you have chosen. You are free to choose any scenario, but it must be one not already claimed by another student. In your initial post, describe which one of the forecast methods should be used to obtain the best results for your chosen scenario.
